4th Medicated Cycle

Hello ladies happy Wednesday!

Run Down
i have done a total of 4 medicated cycles counting this month. the past 3 cycles i was with my obgyn, & he order for me to get some blood work done & that showed that i wasn't ovulating. since i wasn't ovulating i wasn't getting my period either. so on my first month of medication i took Provera +  50mg of clomid (didn't ovulate). 2nd month 100mg of clomid (didn't ovulate). 3rd month Provera + 150mg of clomid (didn't ovulate). also i want to add that during my medicated cycles i wasn't being monitor witch means i wasn't getting ultra sounds that should what was going on in my ovaries witch made no sense to me! all my obgyn was doing was giving me medication & me nor him knew what was going on besides they weren't getting me to ovulate. He wanted me to go on to 200mg of clomid & at that point i decide to go to a fertility specialist instead because there was no point of me taking higher dosages if we didn't know why they weren't making me ovulate. (Note: i never felt anything while i was on the clomid).

4th Cycle
On January 13th, 2014 was my first appointment with my Reproductive Endocrinologist also known as a Fertility Specialist. & let me tell you that was the best decision me and my husband could have ever made!! seriously. i always tried to go around that route because i knew how expensive it was to go to and RE & since all my treatments have been out of pocket i knew i wouldn't be able to afford that kind of treatment. but honestly if i would have came here in the first place i can honestly say i probably would be pregnant by now. i didn't know what to expect on my first appointment, at this point i was feeling all kinds of ways & so many things came to my mind like "I'm not going" "how can we afford this" "what if nothing works" "will he be able to help us" ughhh so many things. & i am so happy i put all that aside and went to my appointment. my doctor is AMAZING and very optimistic! we went through all mine & my husbands medical history and we got to ask many questions. Just for my luck i happened to be on cycle day 5 on that day so he said we could get started with treatment right away! (he did say that he was almost sure i has PCOS).

January 13th, 2014 4th Medicated Cycle- I started Clomid 150mg + Metformin.

January 14th, 2014 i went in to get my insulin checked to make sure what dosage on metformin i should be taking. (I'm not diabetic) insulin has to do also with infertility & metformin helps control that.

January 21st, 2014 i have a ultra sound to check if i have any follicles and if i do i will be getting a trigger shot.

if i do get a trigger shot, 2 week wait starts!!!
